Heya all...

So I found a crude hack someone made that lets you play versus in the L4D2 demo. There are a couple of problems with it that I noticed while using it single-player, but one of those should be gone if multiplayer is a possibility.

What i'm wondering is, if I get a server setup with this plugin running on it, would anyone be willing to help test it out before I let people have at it fully?

I don't think it is, Guba.

Basically it's just an L4D2 plugin. If Sourcemod gave us the code to use for L4D2 (they've made it, but only people who donated to the website can access it atm), then i'd just use the L4D Infectedbots plugin to do it anyways... as the author claims it's working fine (he has the L4D2 compatiable Sourcemod).

Hm...

This may not happen anytime soon. For some reason, the plugin refuses to load on my server, but runs fine on my local machine.

Not sure why... only difference I can see is the PC is running Windows while the server is running Linux.

That's because it's a Windows .dll plugin so it won't run on a Linux server.
The L4D Infected Bots plugin doesn't work with L4D2, you're just sitting in spec mode and are not able to take over an infected.

Yeah, I worked that out... annoyingly.

Odd, the guy posted on his thread and said it's working. Unfortunately I don't have the Sourcemod for L4D2 to test it. -_-
